Account book, 1805-1842.

This account book is the record of business transactions of Cutting for the period 1805 to 1842. The volume records the days Cushing worked, type of work he did (butchering hogs, sawing, etc.), and money owed him, at the same time that he records work done for him. Entries are listed by name, and pay was often in the form of foodstuff. At the end of many entries is included a final, signed reckoning between Cutting and the other party.
